John Williamson with Tex Perkins 'The Man in Black'
ICONIC SIGNER/SONGWRITER JOHN WILLIAMSON CELEBRATES 50+ YEARS IN THE INDUSTRY
John’s 50th Anniversary celebratory plans were temporarily put on hold in 2020 due to the onset of COVID-19, but the autumn of 2021 will see the True Blue entertainer back on stages around the country, with a highlight performance shaping up at the stunning Kings Park & Botanic Garden in Perth this coming March.
John will be joined by special guest Tex Perkins 'The Man in Black' (performing an amazing Johnny Cash salute!) and multi-award-winning Australian country artist, Fanny Lumsden.

John Williamson
John Williamson
It was 1970 when John released his first song, ‘Old Man Emu’ which kick started a five-decade career crafting out some of Australia’s unofficial anthems, tender ballads and songs that captured the outback landscape and the people of the country. He has toured the country like few others selling over 5 million albums along the way and was recognised by being inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2010.
With all that he has achieved, 2021 will be John’s last major year of touring.
Mallee Boy, True Blue, Fair Dinkum, or whatever you call him, there is no other performer who stirs the Aussie spirit as John does and 2021 could be the final time you get to experience his inspiring concert in Perth.
“It’s been a long wait to get back on stage after the trials of 2020. I’ve been missing what I have done for the past 50 years, so am really looking forward to ‘Sailing the Nullarbor’ and seeing the smiling faces of West Aussies at Kings Park.” – John Williamson
